Welcome to SwitchTank! By creating an account or using the SwitchTank app or website, you agree to these terms.

What SwitchTank is

SwitchTank is a marketplace and community for aquarium hobbyists: buy, sell and rehome aquatic life and equipment locally, and share your hobby on Aquagram. SwitchTank is a venue only — we are not a party to any transaction, we don't handle payments, shipping, or guarantees, and we don't verify listings.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use SwitchTank.
• You're responsible for your account and for keeping your password secure.
• One person per account; don't impersonate others.

Buying & selling

• Transactions are arranged directly between buyer and seller. Meet in safe, public places and never send money in advance.
• Sellers are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings, including complying with all local laws on the sale and transport of live animals.
• Listings of endangered, protected, or illegally collected species are strictly prohibited.

Community rules

• No spam, scams, harassment, hate speech, or sexually explicit content.
• Only post content you have the right to share.
• Animal welfare comes first — content showing neglect or mistreatment will be removed.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we respond to in-app reports.

Content license

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you give SwitchTank a non-exclusive license to host and display that content within the service (e.g., showing your listing to nearby buyers).

Disclaimers

SwitchTank is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for disputes, losses, or damages arising from transactions or interactions between users.
